The Captain
I'm a graduate student. My hobbies include traveling anywhere, camping in the rain, problem solving, trying new outdoor gear, challenging myself, and trying to trim my baseweight. My favorite books are: Safetywise and any book ever written about hiking, wilderness medicine, navigation or backcountry cooking.
I've been inspired by the grass-roots start of the Girl Scout movement for a while, and also impressed by the amazing things Scouting can do for girls. The Eaglet Express is my own love note to Girl Scouts on their 100th Birthday.
